From the former ancient swamps of Fenland rises a debut EP that weaves a rich, raw folklore. It feels like a call from a cathartically dark past, while also serving as a powerful warning from the future: it's 'Eel Land' from Eels! Eels! Eels!, a debut that instantly whisks listeners away to another world with its psychedelically vibrant rhythms and swirling, ominous grooves to deliver a powerful folklore drawn from home turf tales and personal musings.

From ‘Owls’, with its warning musical tones of ominous guitars and marching-like percussions, and subtly erratic Talking Heads-esque vocal style that isolates and calls to action, to the charmingly groovy ‘Seperated by the Cut’ that describes the consequences of one man’s deal with the devil, complete with smooth as butter delivery and a conversational, poetic Lyricism, its a listening experience that may begin fantastical but ends with a transformation into something rawly ominous and real by its final final musical curtain; A bold final curtain in the form of hauntingly intimate ‘Nothing To Care’  and the battlecrying, yet questioning closing track ‘Warrior’, that powerfully solidifies Eels as bona fide storytellers and truly an artist to watch when it comes to psychedelic rock. A must-listen for all who feel intrigued by the mysteries of their towns and histories overall.
