//Album Review\\ Leah Eccles enchants with debut album 'Complete Wisteria'

As summer slowly slips away and autumn begins to take its place, it can be difficult to take a step back, take in your surroundings and process the memories of summer. Whether you're amid busy days in the city or slowly slipping into a new routine of a new city or new place in life post the summer season, Complete Wisteria, the debut album from Lancashire artist Leah Eccles, is here to enchant you with lo-fi soft musicality and dreamy vocals that will leave you feeling like you’re floating on a cloud and comforted no matter where you are.

From the get-go, the Albums introductory track ‘Wisteria’ draws you into another world with reverb soft vocals, heartfelt piano and atmospheric synth, that leads you down a rabbit hole of calm and ethereal nature, leaving you intrigued about what’s to come next. By 'Dashboard Dialogue', (the midpoint of the album), you’re amid a dream, brilliantly delivered through sweet guitar, and delicate vocals which lead you further into a world of peaceful vibrance.

By  '2:38', the album's final track, the tone has shifted from soft joy to something that is somewhat sorrowful but also hopeful that settles on the heartstrings and revels in the experience of a late night of restless thoughts about love, life and more, brilliantly embodying that love is not a linear experience or the same for everyone.

Complete Wisteria is an enchanting lo-fi gem for fans of soft folk and lovers of all things delicate yet powerful, it’s the perfect soundtrack to wistfully bid farewell to summer and welcome in the softness and comfort of autumn.
