'Not Willing to Sacrifice my life' is the most recent release from York indie-pop band, king -No-One which follows similar releases such as 'OOMM' (2019) and 'Toxic Love' (2018)

The track drives forward with a rhythmic vocal introduction which underlays the rest of the track with a chanting style that you'll circle your mind for weeks,drums pulse alongside pounding synth that hit the spirit hard, gritty electric guitar shreds through and stands tall adding a grungy element to the track.

Lyrically the track tells a story of struggle ( 'Another reason for doubt to crawl back in' ) which can be a difficult thing to write about but with this track, it is done in such a way you want to hear more, it's raw and truly bears all which is reflected perfectly in the bridge with its softer harmonies and light synth which builds up to match the high energy of the track in the final chorus.

This is a song about fighting back and sometimes that can be the hardest thing to do.
