Demons of Ruby Mae-'Synesthesia' song review

Music can bring wonder and joy to our frantic lives, but sometimes its good to take a step back, take a breath and look beyond whats in front of you.

Synesthesia is the perfect distraction, from the jump you are drawn into a colourful, mesmorising world that envelopes you, even if its just for a few moments, with its powerful build ups before the chorus and synth textures similar to that of 80s synth pop ,acts such as the human league and The pet shop boys .It may also remind listeners of modern synth pop bands such as CHVRCHES and La roux,it flows well from key change to synth solos it's all tied so well together by the lyrics and electronic vocals. Its a whole package to unwrap,as you listen to it each time something new is revealed within the song which is always a nice surprise to find.

The title comes from the psychology term of 'Synesthesia' meaning when one sense is stimulated it causes a reaction that stimulates another sense, for example:when you hear a song you may see a colour or colours.'Synesthesia' is hypnotising and magical,a must listen if you love synth pop style music.Another diamond of a song.
