//Song Review\\ RayGun looks beyond the superficial with new single ‘Pretty Face’

In life, it's easy to assume you know someone from their appearance, whether it's their facial expression, the demeanour in which they carry themselves, or their fashion sense of dungarees and leather jackets, we see faces before anything else when we first meet people and let that inform our decisions to some extent.

London-based Alt-rock band RayGun, are here to encourage us to look beyond face value, however, with their latest single ‘Pretty Face’.

‘Pretty Face’ follows on from the band's debut single ‘Keep Quiet' (2024) , and discusses that beyond the mask that we present to the world, there is so much more to be shared with passion and Punk Spirit. The track also delivers a generous helping of grunge rock grit perfect for fans of Nirvana (especially Come As You Are), Green Day and Alice in Chains to enjoy.

Lyrically, this track calls out to you as if it’s a comforting voice in the dark that gently shakes you to reality while delivering a strong musicality of melodic guitars that captivate you at every turn especially when intertwined with the track’s impactful drum lines and percussion. If you’re looking for a song to sink into like its a grunge blissful cloud then this is the perfect track for you.
