//Song Review// Uh Huh Yeah ~Katie Wood

'Uh Huh Yeah' is the latest track from London based art-rock solo-artist Katie wood who has recieved aclaim from the likes of Paper magazine, BBC and MTV. The track follows on from her last release of single 'Steve'. 'Uh-huh yeah' details Katie's own struggle with Agoraphobia, the powerlessness of it and finding a light at the end of a tunnel which is depicted powerfully throughout the song's lyrics, and the track's instrumentation, 'I don't have to drink to let go, Live in the dark on my own'. ' Uh Huh yeah' is a track packed to the brim with influences, with a raspy, emotional vocal style that is similar to that of Haim and Kate bush as well as an 80s musicality of muted tones, dreamy backing vocals and stand out synth which really brings the song together perfectly. This is the perfect song any new romantic fan,you don't want to miss out on the wonder that is Katie Wood.
