//Song Review// 'Let Me Down' Freeda
In such a time of fear and anxiety, it can be hard to stay positive but with new releases such as 'Let Me Down', the latest release from manchester indie band Freeda, we can stay hopeful for a time of bright music once again. 'Let me down' is a track packed with character with its psychedelic musicality of synthy undertones and combination of reverb guitars and full drums which occupy the majority of the track, taking influence from bands such as Peace, and blossoms. Freeda have begun carving out their sound with this track. Lyrically the song tells a story of disappointing relationship 'speak to me if it's not the last time' which is something most can relate to which adds a personal element to the track which really gives it an extra magic touch. The track is the fourth track from an upcoming ep that the band will be releasing that all fans can look forward to. If you need a pick me up before then, I would certainly consider watching the music video for 'Let Me Down' linked below. The future is FREEDA.
